Three ECH members attended the world’s first Traditional Medicine Global Summit last month in Gujarat, India, jointly hosted by WHO and the Indian Government.  Elio Rossi and Dora Pachova represented EUROCAM and Cristal Skaling-Klopstock, a member of the TCIM steering group, attended on behalf of the European Federation of Homeopathic Patients Associations (EFHPA).

The summit  was held alongside the G20 health ministerial meeting, to mobilise political commitment and evidence-based action on traditional medicine, which is a first port of call for millions of people worldwide to address their health and well-being needs.

WHO has now published the Gujarat Declaration, which summarises the evidence-based outcomes of the Summit – https://www.who.int/publications/m/item/who-traditional-medicine-summit-2023-meeting-report–gujarat-declaration
