The Patients/users subcommittee represents the European associations of homeopathic patients/users and is aimed at supporting, developing and extending homeopathy at a European level, being informed of and giving its opinion on the activities of the other ECH subcommittees, promoting the freedom to choose homeopathic treatment from a homeopathically trained doctor, promoting the availability of all homeopathic medicines, and establishing a common lobbying strategy.

In 2003 the European associations of homeopathic patients/users established the European Federation of Homeopathic Patients’ Associations EFHPA. EFHPA is still affiliated to the ECH.
