Home of the Beatles, the River Mersey and one of football’s most intense rivalries, Liverpool has been chosen as the location for the 98th Faculty of Homeopathy Congress.
The Faculty’s popular biennial congress will run from 11-14 October 2018 and is once again expected to attract a large number of delegates from the UK and across the world.
“We’re very excited to be going to Liverpool for our congress. With its rich history of industrial and cultural innovation, and long tradition of being a centre for homeopathic medicine, the city is an ideal setting,” said Faculty president, Dr Helen Beaumont.
Reflecting the theme “Homeopathy – connecting our global community” the congress aims to bring together practitioners from around the globe, making it a truly international event. It will feature a full academic programme covering clinical practice and research in both human and veterinary homeopathic medicine. Attending will be many of the world’s foremost practitioners and educators in homeopathy, who will deliver presentations which will inform and inspire.
But the Faculty’s congress is not just an event for exchanging academic ideas, it also provides an excellent opportunity for homeopaths from all over the UK and abroad to meet old friends and make new ones. Consequently, the social side of congress has become hugely important and the organising committee is already planning a number of events that will foster the convivial atmosphere for which congress and Liverpool are renowned.
“Following the great success of our last congress in Belfast, where we saw an increase in delegate numbers and exhibitors, we are determined to make Liverpool 2018 just as successful,” said Dr Beaumont.
“I know Faculty members and the wider homeopathic community consider our congress to be a must-not-miss event, and I look forward to welcoming everyone to Liverpool next October.”
